Stephens Falls - Jan. 7, 2003 - you have to see these falls! Beautiful!
Note: this June 23rd 2002 was seen in 2008 by a descendant of Jakob who wrote:
Jim & Bev,
Hello, my name is Chris Smith from El Dorado, Arkansas and I am a descendant of Jacob Kytle through his daughter Mary who married Stephen Johnson. I am a fifth great-grandson of Jacob. The Johnsons eventually relocated to Carroll County, Tennessee where most of my family still lives.
After I discovered your site on the net and learned about the marker that had been placed for Jacob I wanted to contact you and say "thanks so much!" We have a Johnson genealogy book that only provided limited details about Jacob. We had no idea where he settled after the Revolution, much less where he is buried. I was so excited to discover all of the work that had been done by you and Bev. Just two weeks ago I typed in Jacob Kytle for a Google search and that's when I came across your site for the first time.
Again, thanks so much for your hard work and I hope to visit the cemetery someday!

"The best remedy for those who are afraid, lonely or unhappy is to go outside, somewhere where they can be quiet, alone with the heavens, nature and God. Because only then does one feel that all is as it should be and that God wishes to see people happy, amidst the simple beauty of nature. As long as this exists, and it certainly always will, I know that then there will always be comfort for every sorrow, whatever the circumstances may be. And I firmly believe that nature brings solace in all troubles". Anne Frank
